- Operating lead, low boy, dump truck, dozer, excavator, front end loader and roll-off truck.
- Deliver and pick up equipment and material
- Ability to work on a variety of projects such as: driveways, septic systems, demolitions, foundations, basements, retaining walls, hauling material and more.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Perform daily pre and post trip inspections, maintenance and fueling of equipment.
- Ensure professional, safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment at all times.
- Courteously interact with customers and/or the general public.
- Know and follow all company safety policies as well as OSHA, MIOSHA, MSHA and ANSI regulations.
- Able to perform duties and responsibilities with little to no supervision.
- Receive and follow written or oral instructions.
- Perform manual labor to prepare or finish sites, such as shoveling materials by hand.
- Practice safety at all times including driving of company vehicles and operation of company equipment.
- Use PPE while on jobsite including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility clothing, steel toe boots, pants and gloves.
- Take initiative and anticipate what needs to be done.
- Work in conjunction and as a team with your crew.
- May assist other craft workers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Valid Michigan class A operator’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret a map legend or GPS to locate service addresses.
- Mechanical skills highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
