Responsibilities and Expectations: Director of Cultivation: As the Director of Cultivation at Weedys, you will lead and manage our cultivation operations. Your expertise and strategic vision will drive our efforts to produce exceptional cannabis products while maintaining efficiency and maximizing yields. Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in the following areas:
- Assembling and managing teams to consistently achieve quality and yield standards.
- Managing indoor cannabis cultivation facility climate controls and lifecycle-based climate setpoints.
- Cannabis propagation, including large-scale timely cloning with high success rates.
- Seamless transition of plants between growth stages.
- Growing indoor cannabis using coco coir and rock wool-based substrates.
- Designing, configuring, operating, and maintaining automated fertigation systems.
- Harvesting cannabis, including compliance, metrc tracking, and trichome development.
- Cultivation facility sanitization practices, waste destruction, and chemicals management.
- Proficiency in canopy management, strain-to-canopy allocation, and plant logistics.
- Cannabis-specific integrated pest management program design and implementation.
- Efficient crop lifecycle management program development and implementation.
- Knowledge of irrigation system design, repair, and maintenance.
- Experience in documentation, scouting, and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with relevant sensors, meters, and data collection devices.
- Cannabis cultivation material resource planning and management.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles.

- 2 years of experience as Director of Cultivation for a 20,000ft2 grow or larger.
- 5 years of management experience with 10 or more employees.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently grow high-quality cannabis.

- Commercial plumbing, carpentry, and electrician experience.
- Computer programming.
