About the Role
Weee! Is looking for Accounts Payable Accountant, who will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. This is an onsite position based at our HQ in Fremont, CA, The role reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Responsibilities
- Verify vendor account balances by reconciling monthly statements against the AP Aging Report.
- Review and validate vendor invoices ,obtain appropriate documentation and approvals before processing payments, ensure credit is received for any discrepancy
- Build and Maintain good internal and external relationships to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies within a timely manner
- Responsible for submitting any changes around vendor updates (banking details, address, W-9); working closely with the AP Manager on necessary updates.
- Prepare documentation for payment proposals, including checks, ACH and wire transfers
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, policies and internal controls
- Support additional accounting assignments and ad-hoc reporting as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounts payable
- Experience in Smartsheet and SAP (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
- High Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and high level of accuracy
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $26 to $29.
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
