About the Role
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Project Management to independently lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a first-party retail environment. This role focuses on driving excellence in product lifecycle management, sourcing, replenishment, sales operations, SKU optimization, and vendor management, as well as ensuring seamless collaboration across all relevant functions such as supply chain, merchandising, finance, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong background in 1P retail operations, capable of understanding and improving complex processes, utilizing data to drive decision-making, and leading diverse teams to deliver impactful results. This role demands someone who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and consistently deliver results that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Customer Service, and Marketplace to define strategic objectives, identify operational challenges, and uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Lead the design, optimization, and implementation of scalable processes, establishing robust KPIs and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
- Build and oversee a high-performing project management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for prioritizing initiatives and optimizing resource allocation to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Direct the execution of cross-functional programs, ensuring the delivery of measurable outcomes, adoption of best practices, and continuous improvement through rigorous performance monitoring and evaluation.
Qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience in merchandising (1P), supply chain, and finance, with demonstrated expertise in driving large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of merchandising functions, including sourcing, replenishment, vendor relationships, SKU management, and product lifecycle processes.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects in a retail environment, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing large, cross-functional projects. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and familiarity with SQL and Python for driving data-driven insights and process improvements.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management platforms, and other operational tools to enhance transparency and reporting capabilities.
- Expertise in operational improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), with a focus on identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams and functions.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of marketplace operations, including pricing strategies, product optimization, and performance metrics. (Preferred)

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000 - $178,500
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
