Weekender is seeking a part time (down season) shifting to full time (high season) Maintenance technician who is a self-starter, independent thinker and solution-oriented, willing to learn, hard worker, with similar values to our team and company
General Responsibilities
- Support the Maintenance Lead in all areas of maintaining the Great Pines lodging and overall property, including regular maintenance and special projects
- Focus daily on property upkeep, including snow removal and landscaping
- Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are well-maintained and in working order
- Diagnose, fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines
- Comply with all state and local regulations related to the operation of the property
- Be familiar and comply with all OSHA safety guidelines
- Manage running maintenance and project list to execute and address and complete work in timely and budget-conscious manner
- Perform routine preventative maintenance checks throughout the property, including but not limited to rooms, common areas, major equipment, recreational equipment, kitchen and grounds
- Lead by example by following all safety guidelines and regulations per Weekender and OSHA standards
- Assist with various special projects as needed
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to be on feet for long periods, up to 90% of day
- Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, crawling, and/or bending throughout shift
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs from time to time
- Ability to work in varying temperatures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
