Key Responsibilities
This position requires you to work on a 17 & 11 rotational schedule, meaning 17 days at work and 11 days off, 12-hour shifts. You will assist the SSHO Supervisor and Dredging HSE Manager in implementing the WMI Accident Prevention Plan (APP), Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) development, and site/contractual client specific HSE policies for project locations. Additionally, you will perform hazard identification and analyses, inspections, incident management, and investigation, reporting as required by WMI and contractual regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 5 years of cumulative construction or general industry-related safety experience, within the last ten years, managing or implementing a SOH program on projects similar in industry type, size, and complexity. A degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Sciences is preferred. The candidate must be proficient in standard office software packages and possess fluent verbal and written English language skills.
