Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Roofing Laborer to join our team. The Roofing Laborer will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs on both residential and commercial properties. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the roofing industry while working alongside skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and repair of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, tile, roof coatings, hot mop, and flat roofing materials.
- Remove old roofing materials, debris, and trash from work areas.
- Carry, load, and unload roofing materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Set up ladders, and other equipment to ensure safe access to roofs.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, measuring, and securing roofing materials as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site during and after projects.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support team members by performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- No prior roofing experience required; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work on rooftops in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is required.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Requires climbing, bending, kneeling, and heavy lifting.
- Work may include both single-story and multi-story buildings.
- Must Have Own Tools
