What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Marketing Intern position at Weezie?
The Content Marketing Internship offers hands-on experience across two key areas of our digital marketing efforts: supporting the behind-the-scenes process of paid advertising and contributing to content creation across channels. You’ll gain exposure to the full creative cycle—from brainstorming and researching ad concepts to starring in social-first content and organizing assets in post-production.
What You’ll Do:
Part 1: Behind-the-Scenes Ads Support
- Organize and manage creative assets for paid social campaigns
- Brainstorm new ad concepts and copy ideas with our team
- Collaborate with design and creative teams to request and track edits
- Get hands-on experience learning how digital ads work—what makes them perform, how we test them, and why they convert
Part 2: Lights, Camera, Content!
- Visit our Atlanta retail store to film ad content featuring yourself—being comfortable and confident on camera is a must
- Assist with content creation for TikTok, from behind-the-scenes glimpses at our office to product-focused videos and trend-driven moments
- Bonus points if you currently have a video-forward social media presence (TikTok or Instagram) and have experience editing short-form videos
Part 3: AI Meets Ad Strategy
- Research and test AI tools to support creative output
- Help build ad campaigns tailored to our customer personas—testing different hooks, creative formats, and messaging
- Contribute to a content backlog of reusable creative assets (think: short-form video, static graphics, copy snippets) to continuously feed our paid media engine
At the end of this internship, you will have the opportunity to present your creative output, performance metrics, and an overview of your AI research.
Internship Details:
- Schedule: This is a 9-10 week internship starting on June 3 running through July 31 or August 7th. You will work approximately 20 hours per week from our Westside Provisions District office Tuesday – Thursday, 9:30am-4:30pm
- Compensation: Interns receive $300 per week, paid bi-weekly.
