Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Assistant to support the warehouse operations of a ceramic tile factory. This role requires a mix of office and on-the-ground tasks, ensuring smooth logistics processes and assisting the warehouse manager in key daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in managing urgencies, meetings, and deadlines.
- Prepare and print labels for shipments, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Handle special packaging needs, including samples and custom orders.
- Audit and inspect outgoing shipments, with a focus on partial pallets to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to resolve any shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of shipments, audits, and special package requests.
- Communicate with carriers and logistics partners as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in shipping, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and audits.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working both in an office setting and on the warehouse floor.
- Basic computer skills (experience with shipping software, ERP systems and Administrative software like Quickbooks is a plus).
- Ability to lift and move packages when necessary.
