Job Summary
- Work safely!
- Organize and identify transformer and subcomponents to be painted.
- Use of primer/paint/color as per BOM (Bill of Material).
- Set-up and operate paint equipment.
- Clean transformers and sub-assemblies prior to painting through use of sander, cloth, cleaner or alcohol.
- Mark and protect areas not to be painted or coated.
- Apply complete finish coat per Work Instruction.
- Complete quality check of final paint finish to meet manufacturing procedures and rework/repaint if required.
- Remove masking and protection.
- Maintain paint system as required and notify supervisor and maintenance of any problem.
