The Sourced Product Business is part of Marathon Electric, responsible for providing finished goods that are not manufactured at one of our North American plants. This includes product sourced with external suppliers or product manufactured at one of our facilities in Asia. The team is also responsible for managing the Service Part offering and fulfillment for both motors and generators. We are looking for a Global Category Manager Expert to join our team.
EHS Coordinator 3
This is an entry level environmental health and safety position for which the primary responsibility will be to complete EHS trainings, complete safety projects throughout the facility, complete various audits and evaluations, and maintain the daily and monthly EHS functions of the production floor.
Responsibilities in this role include :
- Audit and maintain EHS and production equipment on a monthly or weekly basis and repair as needed (fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, ladders, ect.)
- Assist with incident investigations and problem solving activities in regards to injuries, near misses, and environmental matters.
- Train newly hired associates with the site safety policies and programs
- Train associates on various EHS functions (forklift, crane, aerial lift, ect.)
- Audit facility for compliance with EHS rules and regulations and address as needed.
- Inspect and test fire systems as necessary
- Handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage and disposal
- Complete projects as assigned by the EHS manager
- Completing security audits of the premises
- Assist with tracking, logging, and fixing issues in regards to the safety observation program.
- Identifying and implement safety improvements throughout the facility
- Engage in various committees and programs for the facility to improve the safety and quality of work (Emergency response, safety committee, ect.)
- Identify and implement projects to reduce energy consumption
- All other duties as assigned
