Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of battery storage systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Travel for extended periods of time to perform Commissioning site equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and thermal management systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of the systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Document service activities and generate service reports and system documentation.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify system improvements and recommend product enhancements.
- Participate in the training of clients and junior engineers on system operation and maintenance.
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in field service engineering, particularly with battery energy storage or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, energy management systems, and inverters.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with national and local electrical codes.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time, including possible international assignments.
