Our client is currently seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to join their Houston Office.
Corporate Legal Practice Assistant Job Duties include :
- Drafts and proofreads correspondence and legal documents, and prepares revisions as directed.
- Assist with corporate filings and reports, including UCC and SEC Filings and Related Documents
- Prepare Articles of Incorporation and assist with preparation of business entity documentation
- Coordinates document preparation and completes other general office duties such as copying, scanning, and faxing.
- Maintains and updates calendars for assigned attorneys, coordinates travel, and schedules meetings.
- Creates and maintains electronic and paper client files and indexes, and performs routine filing.
- Processes expense reimbursements, and coordinates client billing with accounting department.
- Assists in the preparation and submission of electronic time records for timekeepers.
