Our client seeks an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support their commercial litigation group in downtown Houston.
Legal Secretary
5 years litigation experience
- Create, redline and proofread a variety of legal documents.
- E-files documents with various courts.
- Marks and generates tables for lengthy briefs.
- Creates e-briefs by adding hyper-links to documents for internal cross-references and citations to evidence and authorities.
- Maintains client files.
- Retrieves cases and performs other tasks in Westlaw.
- Assists with various stages of case management, for example : trial exhibit preparation.
- Performs administrative duties
- Maintain & manage a busy calendar
- Time entry
- Personal correspondence and travel assistance
