Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for retrieving finished product from packaging areas, shrink wrapping skids and processing paperwork. Must have knowledge of WMS system and scan gun process. Move finished product to designated locations in warehouse. Assists in stocking raw materials to required production areas as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate forklift.
Daily cycle counts.
Operates pallet wrapper.
Communicates with all department Technicians and Operators.
Coordinates delivery of needed supplies and parts to departments.
Retrieves finished product from departments and transfers to warehouse.
Performs all functions in SAP.
Performs safety checks on forklift.
Maintains 5S standards.
Overtime when requested and/or required by management.
Performs other duties as requested or required.
Accountabilities:
Assure that raw material is available at all times and finished product is removed in a timely manner.
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing facility. Moderate noise level, must wear ear plugs and safety glasses with permanent side shields.
Job Requirements
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Capable of lifting eighty (80) pounds.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to stand, bend, push, and pull throughout the defined shift.
Mechanical aptitude and high degree of hand/eye coordination
Must have high level of problem-solving and decision making skills
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
Forklift
Communication skills
