Responsibilities
- Demand / Supply Planning
- Support the global roll out
- Provide recommendations and solutions to the business
- Create SOPs, for implementation
- Drive Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with IT when needed to ensure that the Demand/Supply Planning tool is accurately reflecting data and is fully operationally considering major business changes such as warehouse consolidation
- Sourcing - Procurement
- Conduct thorough market research and alternative supplier research analysis to drive strategic sourcing within the organization.
- Support the global Sourcing Managers in any sourcing related tasks associated with suppliers located in NA/EMEA/LATAM
- Support the New Product Sourcing process by utilizing Sales Force tool and engaging the proper Sourcing Team around the globe
- Coordinate with related parties and deploy operational KPIs to ensure operations on track and continuous improvement
- Monitor throughput costs and continuously seek optimization opportunities.
- Proactively propose new supplier or product business opportunities to commercial organization to drive growth.
- Support the sourcing organization transformation goals: TCO savings, working capital, service (lead-time reduction), quality, innovation, improved processes, etc.
- Monitor inventory procedures.
- Employ statistical methods and data analytics tools to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely product delivery to customers.
- Implement effective demand planning strategies by leveraging historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to accurately forecast product demand.
- Performs regular analysis to evaluate issues that could arise from changes in demand plan or supply plan.
- Assist in cultivating positive relationships with business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement supply chain strategies aimed at optimizing inventory management, refining procurement processes, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
- Track KPIs and report on supply chain s performance.
- Conduct KPI analysis and reporting using advanced data analytics techniques within the IBP software solution, to evaluate demand and supply planning performance, including inventory turnover and order fulfillment metrics.
- Must have experience in Sourcing and preferably chemical sourcing
- Preferred experience in Demand Planning and related process(es)
- Familiarity with supply chain processes including inventory planning, and warehouse management.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems knowledge of Oracle is a plus.

- BSc/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
