WEI is recruiting for an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivables Specialist. A high-energy individual with a positive attitude and a team-oriented work ethic. Must become passionate about our mission and be driven to see our company succeed. In this position you will need to perform a wide range of accounts payable and accounts receivables activities for the department and/or managers to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- This position receives and processes all invoices for payment in a timely fashion.
- Deals with a diverse group of important external buyers and vendors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
- Account Reconciliation
- Ledger maintenance and assigns expenses to appropriate accounts.
- Interfaces with internal and external customers
- Develop and improve new accounting methods and techniques.
Requirements:
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Strong analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work.
- Work requires continual attention to details, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and e-mail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to understand various departmental operations and procedures.
- Initiate, plan and complete work assignments with minimum direction and control.
- Understands accounting procedures and transactions used in account receivables and payables.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Knowledge of NetSuite or Sage is a plus.
