Position Overview : The Document Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining and organizing all project documentation, ensuring that records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with project and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Organize, manage, and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, contracts, and reports.
Ensure that all documents are appropriately logged, tracked, and distributed to the relevant parties.
Assist with document retrieval and audits when necessary.
Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
Ensure document management systems are up-to-date and functioning efficiently.
Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes.
Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure document control requirements are met.
Qualifications :
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
2-3 years of experience in document management within the construction industry.
Familiarity with document control software and filing systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Procore).
