How you’ll make an impact…
- Plan and organize daily work, ensuring resources are in place and coordinating with other departments.
- Communicate daily goals to the team, providing direction and addressing questions.
- Monitor work activities with the supervisor to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and adherence to policies.
- Address performance or behavior issues directly with employees and document feedback.
- Initiate employee injury reports when necessary.
- Model expected behaviors and hold team members accountable to standards.
- Develop technical expertise to troubleshoot equipment, process, and product issues.
- Support supervisor with performance reviews, interviews, and team training.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and promote change.
- Ensure processes meet planned results and take action to correct when necessary.
- Communicate shipping issues to Customer Service, Production Planning, and Traffic Controller and assist in investigating customer complaints related to shipping.
- High School/Trade School Diploma required; 1 year of related production experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and organizational information.
- Ability to meet all physical requirements as outlined in the Essential Function Job Analysis..
