Position Summary:
The Risk Management Analyst will provide essential administrative support to the Claims and Insurance Administration team of Risk Management. The Risk Management Analyst will handle correspondence and intake of new incidents, assist in collection of information for property claims, data reconciliation and reporting. A successful Risk Management Analyst is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. The Risk Management Analyst needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists with incident intake and directing new incidents to the appropriate Claims Manager
- Assists with investigating and collecting information for property claims
- Assists the Property Claims Manager with subrogation claims (obtaining funds from insurance companies that represent at-fault 3rd parties)
- Assists with processing claims invoices and checks
- Assists with reporting and data reconciliation
- Assists with insurance evidence collection and compliance for construction projects
- Facilitates the collection and submission of insurance evidence to 3rd parties according to 3rd party requirements
- Assist with collecting insurance evidence and policy information for insurance renewals
- Insurance Administration data tracking and follow-up (vehicle inventory and registrations, bonds, invoices)
Qualifications
- Previous office administrative experience preferred
- Previous insurance experience preferred
- Experienced in Microsoft products required (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good judgement
- Desire to consistently learn, ask questions and solve problems
- Excellent communication and listening abilities
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects effectively and on-time
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
- Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text

- Prompt with regular attendance and maintain a professional appearance at all times while on duty
- Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independently
- Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours, when necessary
- Ability to work 5 days a week in the Kirkland home office
- Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
- Valid and current driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance
Salary : $50,000 - $80,000
