What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Superintendent-Electrical position at Weifield Group Contracting?
The Area Superintendent is responsible for organization and field management of electrical projects and implementing measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage up to 6 crews/electrical projects ranging from 40,000 to 200,000 man hours or $15M - $40M
- Supervise 6 or more supervisors with total responsibility for 75-100 employees on one or multiple projects
- Independently start and manage projects
- Through managing your team, deliver against the highest standards for daily production, installation methodology, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Help recruit, train, and develop foreman, journeyman, and apprentices
- Maintain a constant focus on safety and enjoy working with the best equipment in the industry
- Demonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships
Qualifications:
- 12 years of documented work in electrical commercial or industrial construction with at least 3 years of prior supervisory experience and at least 3 years as a Field Superintendent
- Experience utilizing prefabrication
- Possess a current Colorado State electrical journeyman license
- Be willing to travel to a variety of job sites with incentives
- Enjoy leading, developing, and recruiting a team and producing high quality electrical workmanship
- Be motivated to continue your professional development to obtain LEED and NICET II certifications
