Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized shop by sweeping, mopping, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Assist in receiving and organizing of incoming & outgoing shipments of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Help in preparing work areas by setting up tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Support the team by fetching and delivering tools or materials as requested.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and follow waste disposal guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular checks of supplies and reporting shortages.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, lubricating equipment, and general building maintenance.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude while contributing to a harmonious team environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced technicians and supervisors.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in a construction environment is a plus.
- Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
