Role Overview:

The Production Clerk is a cornerstone of our manufacturing or production environment, tasked with the meticulous assembly of parts or products to ensure operational efficiency and uphold quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and Comprehending Instructions:

o Accurately interpret instructions and follow established procedures with precision.

• Material and Equipment Collection:

o Gather all necessary materials and equipment required for assembly tasks.

• Material Alignment and Assembly:

o Align and assemble materials according to specifications to create finished products.

• Material Sorting and Counting:

o Conduct thorough sorting and counting of materials to maintain accuracy in assembly.

• Disassembly, Modification, and Reassembly:

o Skillfully disassemble, modify, and reassemble products as needed.

• Maintaining a Clean Environment:

o Ensure cleanliness and organization in the workspace to comply with safety regulations.

• Output Checking:

o Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Record Keeping:

o Maintain accurate records of assembly tasks, including quantities and time spent.

• Issue Reporting:

o Promptly report any issues or defective parts for timely resolution.

• Quality Control Understanding:

o Demonstrate understanding of quality control principles to uphold product integrity.

• Following SOPs:

o Adhere to standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality in assembly processes.

• Hand-eye Coordination and Physical Condition:

o Possess strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to handle assembly tasks effectively.

• Waste Minimization:

o Implement efficient practices to minimize waste during assembly processes.

• Handling Fragile Materials:

o Exercise care and precision when handling fragile materials to prevent damage.

• Effective Communication:

o Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors to facilitate smooth operations.

• Physical Requirements:

o Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting to 50 lbs. as required.

• Hand Tool Operation:

o Proficient in operating hand tools essential for assembly tasks.

• Attention to Detail:

o Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in assembly work.

• Reliability:

o Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in attendance to uphold productivity standards.

• Fast-paced Environment:

o Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage tasks efficiently under pressure.

• Miscellaneous Duties:

o Adapt to changing responsibilities and contribute to overall workplace efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing roles is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical condition with the ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and endurance.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment commonly used in assembly processes.

Pay range: $17-$19/hour
