Role Overview:
The Warehouse Clerk play a critical role in the efficient operation of a warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading:
- Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices, and unloading goods from trucks or containers.
- Inspecting and Storing:
- Inspecting goods for damage, recording discrepancies or damages, and safely storing goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Picking and Packing:
- Selecting items from shelves or bins based on order requirements, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment.
- Inventory Management:
- Performing regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
- Order Processing:
- Processing customer orders, picking items from inventory, and preparing them for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Shipping and Loading:
- Packing goods into containers or onto pallets, preparing shipping documents, and loading shipments onto trucks or other transportation vehicles.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, lift, or transport goods within the warehouse.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Following company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and disposing of packaging materials properly.
- Communication:
- Communicating effectively with team memb4rs, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
