Weiler Plastic Surgery, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Inventory Specialist to join our team! Our practice includes locations in Baton Rouge, Hammond, Covington, Denham Springs, Slidell, Metairie & Lafayette. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Inventory Specialist to help us strengthen our brand by supporting our aesthetic & injectable teams behind the scenes. INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Job Description

The Inventory Specialist will maintain Weiler Plastic Surgery’s inventory – counting, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements, transfers, and use of inventory.

Job Responsibilities:

● Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems..

● Maintains daily records of inventory ordered, transferred, and received ensuring all are accounted for and reach their designated location in the correct quantity and condition.

● Ensures all documentation related to inventory is complete, accurate, and documented correctly.

● Maintains stock of inventory and backup sources for high-demand items, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as requested by designated office personnel and Aesthetics Manager.

● Maintains stock rotation to eliminate inventory loss due to expiration.

● Oversees product list & vendors in the inventory management software, updating and identifying incorrect descriptions, stock levels, pricing, and contacts.

● Creates and updates barcodes and prescription labels for necessary inventory items.

● Maintains records and counts of all prescription inventory across locations, ensuring that the procurement and dispensation of prescription products are recorded in compliance with state regulations.

● Conducts monthly physical counts of assigned locations and frequent spot audits of inventory.

● Communicates with the Aesthetics Manager regarding new items, changes, counts, inventory issues, etc.

● Processes inventory replacements for missing or damaged stock.

● Proactively seeks out opportunities to improve inventory processes.

● Performs and assists with general maintenance and cleanup of stock at assigned office locations, maintaining appropriate storage space.

● Provides inventory reports and summaries to Aesthetics Manager on a regular basis.

● Facilitates upgrades and troubleshoots issues with inventory management software.

● Trains office staff on stocking procedures, product dating, and inventory related protocols.

● Effectively partners & communicates with all departments within the organization.

● Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.

● Travels between office locations as needed for physical inventory counts and transfers.

● Assists as backup for device transfers between office locations.

● Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

● Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

● Effective time management and prioritization.

● Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.

● Advanced computer proficiency.

● Ability to perform basic math calculations.

● Some weekend availability required for inventory counts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

● None

Education and Experience:

● High school diploma or equivalent required.

● At least one year of inventory/retail experience preferred.

● Experience in a medical aesthetics environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

-Hours: Monday-Friday | 8AM-5PM | Some Saturday availability required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
