**Position Summary**
Under direction of the Patient Engagement Program Manager, this role plans and executes Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) patient-centered web sites and applications. The position is expected to contribute to the WCM culture of patient-centered development and technical innovation.
**Job Responsibilities**
Facilitates the planning, execution and deployment of projects that bring new features and improvements to WCM's patient-focused flagship web site and all of the applications supported by the Patient Engagement Team.
Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather/document business requirements and translate requirements into functional specifications. Facilitates communication/comprehension of specifications between stakeholders and project team.
Performs analysis on web analytics, business intelligence platforms and clinical/financial data sources. Proposes changes to Patient Engagement supported sites and applications to improve clinical operations and meet patient care business objectives.
Monitors project tasks to ensure deliverables are in-line with project goals and are on track to meet defined acceptance criteria. Provides project meeting minutes to help project team stay on task.
Creates or updates internal and customer-facing documentation for all projects.
Participates in change management coordination between web developers, designers, quality assurance and support team members to test and validate website updates and software releases against requirements, specifications, and success criteria.
Provides status reports and communication for all web site changes and software deployments to users of Patient Engagement supported web sites and applications.
Maintains a regular follow-up schedule with WCM and stakeholders to assess current and future needs with a customer-centered service ethic.
Stays current on the latest trends in web content management, web experience management and social media for healthcare entities.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
**Education**
Bachelor's Degree in related field
**Experience**
Approximately 2-3 years of business analysis experience or equivalent focused on web or application development.
Approximately 2-3 years of experience working in or closely with website content management systems.
Approximately 2 years of experience participating in web development projects of varying sizes and complexity.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong familiarity with Google Analytics.

**Working Conditions/Physical Demands**
Ability to work off-hours and weekends for go-lives, testing and emergencies is required.
Light travel between office locations, primarily within NYC is required.
Position requires working in an office environment where some physical discomforts such as dust, dirt, noise, and the like are present. Ability to work off-hours and weekends, as well as travel between office locations, primarily within NYC and Ithaca, New York, is required. Occasional meetings or clinical staff interactions in typical patient care areas may be required, though direct patient exposure is not expected.
As a technology services professional, you will have exposure and/or access to confidential information, including highly regulated and highly sensitive data, as part of your normal duties. Such data may include protected health information, personally identifiable information, student and financial data, staff data, and research data. Access to data within systems that contain significant portions of confidential records will be necessary to do your job; however, viewing of that information in individual detail is generally incidental. The privacy training course is required to be completed annually by all employees.
