Job TITLE : Tank Farm Supervisor

Job DESCRIPTION :

The Tank Farm Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Tank Farm area and ensuring that all batches are produced to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing a team of Batch Operators, maintaining inventory accuracy, promoting safety, and ensuring the timely availability of finished products as per the Production Schedule.

Job RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Oversee a team of Batch Operators and provide leadership and guidance in the Tank Farm area.
• Develop work schedules based on the Production Schedule to ensure efficient operations.
• Continuously train and develop Batch Operators to improve their skills and performance.
• Ensure that all batches are produced according to the specified recipe and meet the highest quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the Tank Farm area to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor and enforce cleaning and sanitizing procedures for batching equipment as per written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate records of raw chemical inventory to ensure availability for production.
• Coordinate with the Materials Department to replenish chemical supplies as needed to avoid production disruptions.
• Stay up to date with the Production Schedule and ensure that finished products are available as per the schedule.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Production Planning and Quality Control, to meet production targets.
• Oversee the safe unloading of chemicals, including Sodium Hypochlorite and other chemical deliveries.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed during chemical unloading.
• Promote a culture of safety throughout the plant and enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
• Be available for overtime as needed to support production demands and address any unexpected issues.

QUALIFICATION :

EDUCATION : Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
