Job Overview
4 DAY WORK WEEKS!! We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team Weimer Hyundai of Morgantown. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong automotive knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Duties
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services, utilizing skills in auto estimating and automotive diagnostics.
- Document customer concerns and relay information to technicians for efficient service delivery.
- Upsell additional services based on vehicle maintenance needs and customer preferences.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, dealership policies, and automotive technologies to provide informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with the service team to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service advising or a similar role within a dealership environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including brake repair, shocks struts, and general automotive diagnostics.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in service writing with a focus on upselling services is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
