What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Estate Planning Attorney position at Weiner Law?
Our growing firm is seeking an experienced trusts and estates attorney with 5 years of senior attorney experience who can handle a heavy caseload, work independently, and work well as part of a team. You would be handling a mix of estate planning, trust administration, and probate cases. There would be more junior attorneys and paralegals to delegate work to. This would be a remote position; our main office is in San Diego.
Compensation:$180,000 - $200,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Drafting estate planning documents
- Handling probate and trust administration cases from start to finish
- Supervising more junior team members
- Managing client relationships
- Assisting with business development initiatives
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- At least five years of estate planning and trust administration
- Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree, as well as a 3-year law degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to local and state bar associations
- Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills
