Our national CNC machinery diagnostic technician is a key member of a team that provides our customers with expert level troubleshooting on proprietary machinery installed in their facilities. In this role you will have the opportunity to directly impact the success of our customers throughout the United States by providing mechanical, electrical and networking solutions across the Holz-Her CNC product lines. We are seeking a highly skilled customer oriented professional with a proven machinery maintenance and troubleshooting track record. What you will do:
- Research and diagnose mechanical, electrical, networking, hardware, software and systems failures utilizing remote monitoring software and a variety of standard software diagnostic tools.
- Provide virtual expert troubleshooting solutions and guidance to internal and external customers via phone, email, and other electronic means.
What will make you successful:
- Two (2) year Technical Associates Degree (Electronic Technician, Automation Technician or Mechatronics) or the equivalent combination of technical school training, military, or industrial experience required.
- Minimum 3 years successful experience or equivalent experience in the mechanical / electrical maintenance industry with the ability to troubleshoot automated equipment remotely.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), operator interfaces and automated process equipment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and project management skills with a demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and pneumatic prints.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact with others and communicate technical concepts.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customers' needs and expectations.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a valid passport.
- Background, MVR and pre-employment drug screen required.
Other things that might make you stand out:
- BSEET
- Experience with VFD's and Servo's a plus.
- Knowledge of the maintenance and functioning of woodworking machinery.
