Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team in Orlando. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of litigation experience, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume caseload. Being bilingual in Spanish and English is a must to effectively serve our diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
- Maintain case files and calendars, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Conduct legal research as needed.
- Coordinate with experts, medical providers, and other parties involved in litigation.
- Prepare discovery documents and responses, and assist with deposition summaries.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in Personal Injury litigation.
- Strong understanding of the litigation process and legal terminology.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required; must be able to communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; Paralegal certification preferred.
