Key Responsibilities:
- Constructing Crates and Skids: Building crates and skids using tools and machinery.
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload transport trucks.
- Order Preparation: Prepare orders for shipment with precision.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Six months of experience in a shipping/distribution environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools, tape measures, hand tools, overhead and jib cranes, lifting chains, and slings, for packaging and getting shipment ready.
- Ability to operate all powered industrial truck equipment.
