Purpose of Role: The Melting Pourer is responsible for the safe and controlled operation of all ladle related tasks. This includes transferring molten metal from one location to another within the department, identifying and verifying the next steps in the process, and pouring molten metal into the correct sand molds. This role is critical to the quality of the finished cast products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up ladles for next steps in the process
- Transferring molten metal from Furnace to AOD
- Retrieving sample from ladle for chemistry analysis
- Pouring molten metal into prepared sand molds
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience desired but not required
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
