Purpose of the Role: The position will produce high-quality documentation of work processes, equipment procedures, and other information that contributes to the manufacturing of high-quality wear products. Will work with subject matter experts to prepare new or modify technical documents, work instructions, and procedures. This position will also work with the quality group in terms of analyzing data, identifying trends in the data, understanding process controls in place or lack of control measures, and work with the different teams to capture action items during weekly quality meetings, track improvements, and drive action planning to reduce process variation. This position will aid in the collection of data to make quick decisions before issues arise through support departments by participating in document revisions, chart creations using available data, and developing daily data reports to drive actions. Will periodically report out to department management.

Essential Functions:
- Assist departments throughout the process of creating, authoring and/or revising policies, procedures, risk assessments, etc...
- Lead bi-weekly quality meetings with department leadership and collaborate with team members to investigate and create corrective action for root causes of variations in the process of manufacturing.
- Oversee the preparation, dissemination, completion, and electronic storage of forms and equipment / process procedures.
- Work with the Operations, Quality and Technical groups to build, trend, and analyze data for the various processes to drive better process control and reduce process variation through easy-to-identify charts, accurate technical details, and participate in weekly action planning meetings.
- Work with maintenance and engineering teams to create, modify/update, and improve technical procedures and documents supporting the preventative maintenance plans on facility equipment. Will also aid in transitioning data from different storage locations and organizing into new organization structures for more efficient maintenance, storage, and retrieval of key documentation for facility equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of scrap and take ownership of reconciling inaccuracies.
- This position will also participate in root cause and corrective action meetings and training to ensure effective measures and production controls are in place or identified.
- Audit and monitor production areas for process control compliance per approved methods, SOP’s, and quality standards.
- Gathering, filing, and submitting reports as they come up on site, and ensure the accuracy of the data in the reports based on knowledge of the processes and data collection.
- Network with departments to ensure training and material content are accurate and well communicated.
- Oven survey reporting and data collection, along with driving ownership and daily maintenance of sand lab database accuracy
- Be familiar with all internal work instructions and forms and maintain compliant ISO practices.

Qualifications:
- Ability to grasp technical details and concepts and translate them into written documentation and supporting pictures.
- Ability to learn and/or interpret engineering terminology.
- 1-2 years of experience writing technical documentation
- Experience: 2-4 years of prior administrative roles in a fast-paced organization
- Good problem-solving skills, project management skills
- Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, Web-based file organization and infrastructure.
- Intermediate to expert level organizational skills
- Works well on a team environment and can tackle areas of need with minimum direction.
Education:
- AS or BS degree in technical or business systems preferred. High School Diploma/GED required; Will consider previous experience in similar work in lieu of degree
