Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Development: Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance protocols and procedures
- Supplier Quality: Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related quality issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze supplier quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Prepare and present supplier quality reports to management and stakeholders. Facilitate the effective exchange of information to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving supply chain objectives.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
- ISO 9001 experience
- Experience communicating with suppliers
