Purpose of Role : The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a range of production machinery, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners, to manufacture high-quality steel parts.

The primary objective is to ensure that all parts are produced accurately and within the specified timeframes, adhering to safety and quality standards..

Key Responsibilities :

• Machinery Operation : Efficiently operate a variety of production machinery, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners, to produce steel parts accurately and safely.
• Blueprint Interpretation : Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to guide the machining processes and ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
• Collaboration : Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operation and effective communication throughout the production process.
• Safety First : Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma / GED
• Experience : 2 years in Manufacturing industry, a plus, but strong work history will be considered
• Other Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Mathematics, Problem solving
