We take pride in our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team. We are an I-Car Gold shop with manufacturer certifications with GM, Kia, Hyundai, Infiniti, Nissan, Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Chrysler.
Job Description: As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to a high standard. Your work will ensure that vehicles are restored to their original condition, with a focus on quality, precision, and efficiency. You will work closely with our team of technicians to deliver outstanding results that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve a perfect finish.
- Apply paint using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish.
- Inspect painted surfaces for flaws, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment, tools, and work area.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive painter, with a portfolio of completed work.
- Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques, materials, and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in an automotive shop environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with waterborne paint is preferred but will train the right candidate.
