Registered CT Technologist

Registered CT Technologist Will Be Responsible For:

• Performs routine diagnostic radiology service as required in examinations, care and treatment of hospital patients.
• Performs basic CT exams.
• Assists radiologist and physicians when necessary.
• In addition to a diagnostic radiology registry, the employee must hold registry in CT.
• Develops radiologic films using automatic processing procedures.
• Must consistently show proficiency in that modality in addition to diagnostic radiology and meet the standards established in the yearly competency.
• Must be Board registered in two modalities, one being diagnostic radiology.

Registered CT Technologist Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Two-year educational or specialized training programs in radiology technology and must be registered with (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed in State of West Virginia. Registered in CT Scan, ARRT(CT).

One year experience working in radiology department performing radiological diagnostic examinations, and a minimum of 9 months experience in the second registered modality.
