What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Technician, Level 7, Surgical position at Weirton Medical Center?
The Patient Care Technician on Level 7, Surgical assists with the provision of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Discharges duties in a responsible professional manner consistent with all standards of nursing care, hospital policies and procedures, and the current regulations governing nursing practice in the state.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, be enrolled in a Nursing Program with at least one-year clinical experience or have completed a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program. CPR Certification is required.
