What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Flow Tech position at Weirton Medical Center?
Receives patients for Radiology examinations. Checks orders into RIS system and tracks patients. Performs routine diagnostic exams under the direct supervision of a registered technologist. Performs routine diagnostic services as required in examinations, care, and treatment of patients. Assists radiologist and physicians when necessary.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY
Must be CPR certified. One-year of education completed in a specialty radiology-training program.
Within twelve (12) months of successful completion of specialty radiology training program, must be registered with (ARRT) ® American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed in State of West Virginia and acquire skills in phlebotomy and all hospital patient systems.
EXPERIENCE
Must be CPR certified. One-year of Education completed in a specialty radiology-training program required.
