About the Role:
As our Recruiter, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring a large volume of skilled professionals for a wide variety of roles within the construction industry. From field workers to Project Managers, your mission is to ensure we have the right people in place to execute our projects successfully, on time, and on budget. You’ll be the driving force behind our talent acquisition strategy, focusing on building relationships, driving results, and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage a high volume of job openings, from sourcing and phone screening to onboarding for diverse roles across construction sites in multiple states.
- Sourcing & Networking: Leverage a variety of sourcing channels — job boards, social media, referrals, and industry events including career fairs — to build a deep pool of talent within the industry.
- Build Strong Relationships: Partner with internal hiring managers and project leaders to understand staffing needs, prioritize urgent roles, and maintain open communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Candidate Experience: Provide a top-notch experience for candidates by guiding them through the interview process, keeping them engaged, and ensuring they have a clear understanding of our company culture and values.
- Manage the Hiring Pipeline: Stay organized and proactive, using recruiting software to track applicants, ensure smooth interview schedules, and manage a high volume of candidates without sacrificing quality.
- Talent Strategy: Contribute to workforce planning by identifying upcoming staffing needs and developing creative strategies for sourcing and recruiting talent in a competitive market.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy, helping us build teams that reflect a wide range of perspectives and experiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Required Skills:
1-3 years of recruiting experience, with a strong focus on high-volume recruitment, preferably within the construction or skilled trades industry. A self-starter with a track record of consistently meeting recruitment goals, maintaining a high level of productivity, and working under tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse candidates and hiring managers at all levels. Comfortable using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting tools, and social media platforms to source and manage candidates efficiently. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills with the ability to juggle multiple requisitions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Familiarity with the construction industry and its specific workforce needs is a bonus, including safety protocols, union/non-union roles, and certifications.
Pay range and compensation package:
Annual Salary: $75,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.
