Job Description : Task Characteristics
- Analyze energy use reports to identify abnormalities in facility operations (lighting schedules, HVAC setpoints, setbacks, etc.).
- Conduct surveys of store conditions and equipment as needed to create a database for energy control activities.
- Create measurement tools and programs to monitor energy usage for the purpose of identifying sites requiring mediation, monitoring success of energy initiatives, and providing historical data for the Company's energy procurement activities.
- Identify, propose, research, and evaluate the use of new technologies and ideas to control energy usage within our working environment; monitor results.
- Assist in development and distribution of energy reports.
- Interrogate Energy Management Systems (EMS) to identify deficiencies and implement corrective action; maintain current TOD schedules.
- Develop training plans to promote energy control at store level.
- Assist in startups of EMS, to include verification of input points, output points, set points, and strategies. This includes site visits to verify EMS was installed and programmed to company specifications.
