Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving and unloading incoming shipments, pricing products, and stocking cases to ensure quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation of products.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation requirements as set forth by the company and mandated by state, federal, and OSHA regulations.
- Ensuring compliance to local, state, and government weights and measures and labeling laws.
- Greeting and taking orders from customers.
- Cutting, traying, and packaging all required meat and seafood products.
- Participating in pre-inventory preparation, including backstock and ensuring tags match products.
