Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving and unloading shipments, pricing products, and stocking cases to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding weights and measures and labeling laws.
- Providing exceptional customer service, including taking orders and cutting, trays, and packaging meat and seafood products.
- Using cutting accessories safely and responsibly, wearing mesh gloves when handling knives.
- Participating in pre-inventory preparation, including backstock and ensuring tags match products.
- Assisting in other departments as needed.
