Effective communication with patients will be essential, explaining procedures and answering their questions clearly. Additionally, they will be responsible for scheduling exams, obtaining patient histories, and recording consent forms as needed. Proper positioning of patients with suitable devices will be crucial to achieving desired anatomic positions. Techniques and correct protocols for exams will be selected, and reconstructed images manipulated to optimally visualize desired anatomy. A thorough review, verification, and evaluation of images will be conducted before sending them to the radiologist, ensuring technical and image quality meets hospital standards. Compliance with hospital safety, security, and infection control policies and procedures is mandatory.
