Description
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients breathe easier. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and administering respiratory therapy treatments to help patients manage their lung or breathing disorders. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care possible. Working in a critical access hospital you will have the ability to grow and be challenged while making a difference in our small rural community.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and aerosolized medication therapy
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory disorders and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to develop comprehensive patient care plans
Shifts:
- Part-time position between 48-63 hours per pay period
- Days to be worked possible: Monday through Sunday
- Position requests on-call availability

Requirements
- Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure required.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification or obtain within one year of employment.
- Current NRP certification or obtain within one year of employment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
Salary : $30 - $40
