Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations, de-escalating tensions as necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or any irregularities observed during shifts.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures including first aid and CPR protocols.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in surveillance operations or CCTV monitoring is an asset.
- Training in conflict management techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices is beneficial.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
