The position is for an EMT with a company in Monticello, MS.
This position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and?is responsible for medical emergencies and wellbeing of personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites.?
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide medical assistance onsite under the guidance of a?Supervising EMT?at the first aid clinic.
- Ability to function under pressure when responding to medical emergency calls at Georgia Pacific.
- EMT must be able to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured.
- Operational knowledge of an emergency transport vehicle.
- Must hold a valid EMT and CPR Certification.?
- Wear approved uniform completely including having license when applicable.
- Available and present at all times.
- Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.
- Must stay on post until properly relieved.
- Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
- Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.
Additional Responsibilities:
There may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Clean criminal background.
- Must hold a valid NREMT and CPR Certification.
