Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to observe and report any incidents or irregularities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems (CCTV).
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
