We are recruiting for a full time pediatric Child Life Specialist to join our skilled team in Vineland, NJ. This position is eligible for our full benefits package.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The CCLS provides services to children enrolled in the Medical Day Care as an integral member of the Medical Day Care Interdisciplinary Team. The CCLS is responsible for the assessment of developmental activities related to gross motor, fine motor, cognitive and social skills. The /CCLS makes recommendations for developmentally appropriate activities and measurable goals in each developmental domain. The CCLS participates in regularly scheduled Interdisciplinary Team Meetings (IDT).#W1
#W1POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Child Life, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Therapeutic Recreation or other closely related field.
- Certification as a Child Life Specialist (CCLS).
- Dually certified in TR/CCLS
- Experience working with children with disabilities or chronic illness.
- Ability to supervise groups of infants, children, and adolescents with disabilities in a safe manner.
- Pediatric experience in medical settings preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to function as a team member.
